Our vision for the Warren Lodge is simple, but it is the core of everything we do. We fell in love with the Mad River Valley because of its natural beauty and deep sense of community. Our goal is to provide our guests with a friendly, simple, and enjoyable lodging experience at a great, affordable value.
Staying with us should be easy, so regardless of the time you arrive, checking in will be a breeze. Our fantastic innkeeper will gladly help you learn more about the property, show you around, or make recommendations on the best places in the area to visit. And if you're lucky, she may even take you to taste some of the maple sap that we harvest from our backyard!
Hi and welcome on behalf of our whole family. When we first traveled to the Mad River Valley, we didn't know what to expect. We tagged along with our friends for a quick ski trip, and needless to say, we kept coming back. We discovered that not only are the winters breathtaking, but the summers are lush and vibrant, with a myriad of colors and climates in between. We never meant to own an inn, but we saw our future in Warren and began hunting for a home in the Mad River Valley. Finding property on the river proved challenging, but sure enough we stumbled upon the old Golden Lion Riverside Inn, right on the river and just outside of town. The idea seemed crazy, but we saw potential and took the leap!
Over the last few years, we've poured ourselves into the Warren Lodge, creating an environment that we are truly proud of and a destination we enjoy spending quality time at with friends and family. Each room and condo has been renovated with much love to provide the best visit for our guests. It goes without saying that this has been quite a ride, but we wouldn't have it any other way. We have made amazing friends and have had the privilege of meeting so many kind and interesting people. We were quickly welcomed into the small, bustling community found in the Valley. So come visit us! We'd be happy to be part of your travels, and hopefully we'll run into each other while you're here.
